Join SAFMC Staff for Live Q&A Sessions via Webinar on Upcoming Public Hearing/Scoping Amendments

Staff will provide information on the management measures being addressed in each of the five amendments affecting the fishery management plans for Snapper Grouper, Coastal Migratory Pelagics (Mackerel), Dolphin Wahoo, and Golden Crab


The public is invited to participate in three webinar sessions with Council staff to learn more about the amendments being developed by the South Atlantic Council:

Scoping - 

  • Snapper Grouper Amendment 35
  • Snapper Grouper Amendment 36

Public Hearing - 

  • Generic Accountability Measures & Dolphin Allocation Amendment
  • Snapper Grouper Amendment 32
  • Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 20
  • Coastal Migratory Pelagics Framework Amendment 2 
  • Dolphin Wahoo Amendment 7/Snapper Grouper Amendment 33

Staff will provide a brief introduction of each amendment and then will be available for a live chat to answer questions about the amendments.

To help the public prepare for the webinar sessions, draft documents and video presentations giving a complete overview of each amendment are available for viewing on the Council's public hearing/scoping web page. The public is encouraged to view these video presentations prior to the webinar.
