November 26, 2018: 
Written comments (online and those submitted by mail/fax) received by close of business the Monday before the meeting (November 26) will be compiled, posted to the website as part of the meeting materials, and included in the administrative record.  Please use the online comment form to ensure your comments get distributed immediately to Council.

November 27 - December 6: 
Individuals that wish to submit comments after November 26 must use the Council's online comment form. Comments will automatically be posted to the website and available for Council consideration. Comments received prior to noon on Thursday of the Council meeting (12/06/18) will be a part of the meeting administrative record.

  • Dolphin Wahoo
    • The Council will discuss Dolphin Wahoo Amendment 10, which considers changes to allocations.
    • The Council will also discuss Bullet and Frigate Mackerel, specifically whether these species should be managed under the fishery management plan as critical prey for dolphin and wahoo.
  • Snapper Grouper
    • The Recreational Visioning Amendment, Snapper Grouper Vision Blueprint Regulatory Amendment 26, is up for formal approval. The amendment establishes an aggregate for deep-water species and addresses management measures for that aggregate, such as a bag limit and recreational season.
    • Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 32, which proposes changes to yellowtail snapper accountability measures, is up for formal approval by the Council.
  • Citizen Science
    • The Council will receive an update on the development of the Council's Citizen Science Program and discuss upcoming projects.
  • For-Hire Electronic Reporting Training
    • The Council will host a hand-on training session on Thursday (12/6) at 6 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about upcoming electronic reporting requirements for federal charter/headboat permit holders and to practice using available electronic reporting tools.
