2020 Schedule of Advisory Panel Meetings

Members of the Council's advisory panels meet periodically to provide grass-roots recommendations on various fisheries management issues. Members include commercial, recreational, and for-hire/charter fishermen and representatives, business operators, non-governmental organizations, and others familiar with the fishery or management issues. Learn more about the advisory panels, including current members and how to apply to become more involved in the management process.

Habitat Protection & Ecosystem-Based Management Advisory Panel Meeting

Snapper Grouper Advisory Panel Meeting

Joint Deepwater Shrimp, Law Enforcement, & Shrimp Advisory Panel Meeting

The Council will hold a joint webinar meeting of the Deepwater Shrimp, Law Enforcement, and Shrimp Advisory Panels to discuss proposed management changes under Shrimp Amendment 11, which considers modifications to shrimp transit provisions during cold-weather events.
