The Council Chair, based on the number of individuals wishing to comment, will determine the amount of time allotted to each person in the queue.

Public comment will be accepted regarding the following agenda items in addition to other topics. 

  • Approval for Scoping:
    • Snowy Grouper (Snapper Grouper Amendment 51)
    • Yellowtail Snapper (Snapper Grouper Amendment 44)
  • Approval for Public Hearings: 
    • King Mackerel (Coastal Migratory Pelagics Framework Amendment 34)
    • Gulf Cobia (Coastal Migratory Pelagics Framework Amendment 32)
  • Public Hearings:
    • Red Porgy (Snapper Grouper Amendment 50)
  • Final Approval:
    • Shrimp Fishery Access Area along Northern Extension of Oculina Bank Coral Habitat Area of Particular Concern (Coral Amendment 10)

September 6, 2021: 
Written comments submitted by mail/fax received by close of business the Monday before the meeting (9/06/21) will be compiled, posted to the website as part of the meeting materials, and included in the administrative record.

September 7 - September 17, 2021: 
From September 7th to 5 PM on September 17th, written comments must be submitted electronically through the online public comment form. Comments will automatically be posted to the website and available for Council consideration. Comments will also be included in the administrative record.
