Wreckfish Advisory Panel

The Wreckfish Advisory Panel (AP)’s role is to provide guidance on the management of the wreckfish component of the snapper grouper fishery in the South Atlantic region and activities impacting wreckfish.  

The AP is comprised of wreckfish individual transferable quota shareholders, deepwater recreational fishermen and liasons from related advisory panels. Members of the AP are appointed by the Council and may serve up to three consecutive three-year terms as specified in the AP Policy. 

The AP meets as needed via webinar or in person.
