Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 13
Amendment Summary
Revised the acceptable biological catch, annual catch limits, sector allocations, and recreational annual catch targets for select unassessed snapper grouper species. The amendment addressed revisions to recreational landings estimates as a result of changes to the survey methodology.

- Revise the ABCs, ACL, and ACTs for select un-assessed species in the SG FMU. Data will be updated with data from MRIP, commercial, and for-hire landings.

The Council votes to approve the amendment and send it to NOAA Fisheries.

NOAA Fisheries reviews the amendment and publishes proposed and final rules, with public comment periods.
