Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 15

Amendment Summary

Modified annual catch limits for yellowtail snapper. Modified the gag commercial annual catch limit and commercial accountability measure.

Revised the ACL for YTS as ACL=OY=ABC which results in a com ACL of 1,596,510 lbs ww, rec ACL of 1,440,990 lbs ww and rec ACT of 1,253,661 lbs ww.
Modified the AMs for the shallow water grouper complex to the following: if commercial landings, as estimated by the SRD, reach or are projected to reach the ACL, the commercial fishery will close for gag for the remainder of the year. Retain the individual ACLs and AMs for black and red grouper and scamp, and retain the AM for the SASWG complex (red hind rock hind, yellowmouth, yellowfin, coney and graysby)
