Amendment Summary
Revised the seasonal prohibition on the use of black sea bass pot gear in the South Atlantic and added a gear marking requirement for black sea bass pot gear to aid in identification in the event of a whale entanglement.

- Modified the annual BSB pot gear closure from Nov 1 – Apr 30 to Nov 1 – 30 and from Apr 1 – 30 each year applied to waters inshore of designated points around Daytona Beach to Cape Hatteras.
- From Dec 1 – Mar 31 the closure applies to waters inshore of designated points around Cape Canaveral to Cape Hatteras.
