Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 27
Amendment Summary
Established split seasons for snowy grouper, blueline tilefish, greater amberjack, red porgy, and modified minimum size limits and/or trip limits for the Other Jacks Complex, gray triggerfish, vermilion snapper, and deep-water snappers.

- Blueline tilefish commercial trip limit 100 lbs gw Jan 1 – Apr 30 and then 300 lbs gw from May 1 – Dec 31.
- Snowy grouper split season: season 1 Jan – June 30 (70% allocation), season 2 Jul 1 – Dec 31 (30% allocation) quota can be carried from season 1 to 2 but not from 2 to the subsequent 1.
- GAJ split season: season 1 Mar 1 – Aug 31 (40% allocation), season 2 Sep 1 – end of Feb (60% allocation) quota can be carried from season 1 to 2 but not from 2 to the subsequent 1. During Apr GAJ cannot be sold, commercial possession is 1/p/trip.
- GAJ season 1 trip limit: 1,200 lbs ww, season 2 trip limit: 1,000 lbs ww.
