- Black sea bass pot is defined as: 6-sided-rectangle shape with dimensions not to exceed 25 in (other than diagonal). This excludes traps that use flexible mesh or webbing to increase the effective size of the trap.
- With the new pot definition, multi-gear trips involving pots and other gear to catch snapper grouper species are limited to the recreational limit for species where bag limit have been set and no possession for species without bag limits.
