Amendment Summary
Established bag limits for hogfish, cubera snapper, and gray triggerfish which applied only to EEZ off the Atlantic coast of Florida.

- Cubera snapper: 2 fish/p/vessel/d for fish 30″ TL and larger, smaller in 10-fish aggregate snapper bag limit
- Gray trigger: 12″ TL size limit of FL no size limit off other states

Council staff and the Council identify issues and develop actions and alternatives.

The Council takes public comment on the draft amendment.

The Council votes to approve the amendment and send it to NOAA Fisheries.

NOAA Fisheries reviews the amendment and publishes proposed and final rules, with public comment periods.

The final rule is in effect.
