The Council will hold two public hearings pertaining to Snapper Grouper Regulatory Amendment 37 to the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for Snapper Grouper the South Atlantic region. This amendment addresses the depleted status of black sea bass in the South Atlantic immediately with management measures aimed at reducing harvest and regulatory discards and protecting the spawning stock.
The webinar public hearings will take place on Monday, November 3rd, beginning at 6 p.m and Wednesday, November 12th, beginning at 6 p.m. Public hearing materials will be posted as they are available.
