Members of the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will meet the week of June 9-13, 2025 at the Radisson Resort at the Port, 8701 Astronaut Blvd., Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Biologists, stock assessment scientists, economists, social scientists, and natural resource specialists from various academic institutions and agencies will convene in Charleston, SC next week as the Council holds meetings of its Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) and Social and Economic Panel (SEP).
Members of the Council’s advisory panels provide insight into local and area fisheries including the commercial, recreational, and for-hire sectors, as well as enforcement, habitat protection, and other federal fisheries management issues.
Council members will gather next week, March 3-7, 2025 in Jekyll Island, Georgia to address federal fishery management issues, including management of Black Sea Bass, Golden Tilefish, King Mackerel, and Spanish Mackerel.
